Polar Bear at Sunset

I’ve been wanting to expand my collection of animals I have painted, so I decided to take a risk and paint a polar bear. I have liked the animal since I was a child, as it is a iconic Canadian animal. I also love how, being white, the colours of the polar bear completely change depending on setting you find it in. Whether it is the dead of winter, or more like summer, the colours of its fur will depend upon the sky and the wilderness around it. Made it a joy to paint.
